Wharf restaurant planned this year on St. Augustine waterfront

River Restaurant Group hopes to open The Wharf in St. Augustine this year with a seafood-focused menu, said Jeff McCusker, co-owner of the business. 

The Wharf will replace the shuttered Santa Maria restaurant on the city’s bayfront.

McCusker’s restaurant company, which he owns with his business partner Bob Fleckenstein, operates River & Post in Jacksonville and River & Fort and SAINT in St. Augustine.
