Vic Micolucci is a news anchor and investigative reporter at News4Jax. He anchors the 8 and 9 a.m. hours of “The Morning Show” Monday through Friday and reports from the field in the afternoons. Vic covers crime, justice, public safety, government and the arts. His work has been recognized with three Suncoast Emmy awards, a national William Hearst Award, 2 Edward R. Murrow awards and a dozen Associated Press Awards. He’s also been voted as “Jacksonville’s Best Investigative Reporter” in Folio Weekly and “#1 Newscaster in the 904” in Void Magazine. Vic is a Jacksonville native who attended Resurrection Catholic School, Paxon School for Advanced Studies’ International Baccalaureate program and the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, where he graduated with highest honors. He joined the WJXT team as an assignment editor and mobile journalist in 2010. Before coming to The Local Station, Vic worked as a reporter, producer and photographer for ABC News "On Campus" in Gainesville, as sports director for WUFT-TV (PBS), and as a reporter and host at WUFT-FM (NPR). He interned with Channel 4 and the Florida Times-Union during summer breaks while in college.
