13-foot great white shark swims off First Coast

Ocearch is tracking several sharks off the coast of Northeast Florida.

Right now, a 1,400-pound great white shark is swimming about 50 miles off the coast. It’s a 13-foot-long adult male named Breton.

He was first tagged back in 2020 off the coast of Nova Scotia and has traveled more than 33,000 miles since. He’s made several trips up and down the East Coast.
