New Met Park marina will open Friday behind Four Seasons Hotel

The new Met Park Marina behind the Four Seasons Hotel on Gator Bowl Boulevard will open at 9 a.m. Friday.

The marina’s 78-wet slips will give boaters access to events at the hotel, EverBank Stadium and Daily’s Place, as well as the One Tower Court office building and the sports complex nearby.

Amenities include electrical power, water hook-ups, pump-out capabilities and boating supplies.

Short-term and overnight stays can be reserved beginning Friday, with reservation dates starting Aug. 12.

The city also will offer rafting docks along Metropolitan Park for boaters coming for special events and games.
