What used to be Ragtime Tavern in Atlantic Beach will soon be transformed through a multimillion-dollar investment into a steakhouse with a rooftop lounge, operators said at the restaurant’s groundbreaking Wednesday.

Ragtime Tavern was at the site for more than 40 years, part of The Corner where Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach meet. It closed in January 2025, one month after SPB Hospitality sold the restaurant to Kelly Cos. of Southern California.
