The St. Johns Cultural Council has selected three winners of its 6th annual Haiku Contest. The theme this year was From Revolution to Renewal: America’s 250th, and more than 250 poems were submitted. This year’s winners are: 

  • Ages 8-12: Marie Wesley for her poem “We Fight”
  • Ages 13-17: Clara Wayne for her poem “America’s Heartbeat”
  • Adult: Farah Nesargi for her poem “The American Dream”
