The St. Johns Cultural Council got more than 200 entries for its 5th annual Haiku Contest, which asked poets to write a haiku on the theme of preserving St. Johns County. Lillian Maurice won the age 8-12 category, Lily Samples won the 13-17 category and Trista Brophy Cerquera won the adults category. Read all the winning poems and the honorable mentions and add a little zen to your day. Congratulations to all the winners!
