Saturday

Tunes and Blooms

Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens | Northside

It’s a little too hot for much of anything outdoors during the day, if you ask me—so good thing the zoo is offering an evening event with live music. Take a sunset stroll through the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens as the evening air settles in, with live performers tucked throughout the grounds. This time, it’s Island Night. Slow down and soak up the tropical vibes — Hawaiian shirts and flip flops encouraged.

370 Zoo Parkway; 6 p.m.-9 p.m.; Non-member tickets: $20; Member tickets: $15; Tickets and more info.
