Saturday
Jax Parks Eggstravaganza
Friendship Fountain | Southbank
The much-anticipated opening of the Jax-history-themed playground at Friendship Fountain is finally here (big news for the under-8 crowd), and it’s the site of “Jacksonville’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt,” which returns with four separate hunt times for different age groups—and a full day of fun for the whole family.
Mayor Donna Deegan will kick things off with an official ribbon-cutting to celebrate the Jean Ribault-themed playground just before the first egg hunt begins. With more than 4,000 eggs hidden throughout the day—including a few golden ones with special prize baskets—you’ll want to bring a basket (or grab one on site) and get ready to hunt. Between the action, families can enjoy music from a live DJ, crafts, art stations, face painting, Mayor Deegan’s Bookmobile, food and dessert trucks and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
1015 Museum Circle; This event is free and open to the public. More info.

Saturday
Ride or Die… A Bicycle Love Celebration
The Honey Pot Bike Collective | Mixon Town
You’ve been riding together for months. Maybe even years. But is it official? Like… legal-official?
Tons of bike lovers out there haven’t registered their ride, which means there’s nothing legally tying them to their beloved machine in case of theft, damage or a crash. That’s why Zencog and The Honey Pot Collective are hosting a “mass bike wedding” on Saturday—your chance to seal the deal. Spring wedding looks from Vintage Exchange will be on hand to help you dress the part, and you can get a take-home portrait of you and your betrothed by Tanner Pletzke before joining the whole “Just Married” crew for a celebratory ride to Hardwicks Bar for the reception.
3270 Marie St., This event is free and open to the public. More info.
