Local students in the Cathedral Arts Project’s String Orchestra, made up of students in grades 4-12, recently took their act on the road and performed at the Music in the Parks competition at Universal Studios in Orlando. The orchestra wowed the judges with performances of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” and “Capriccio Espagnol” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, earning the title of Best Overall Orchestra. Way to represent Duval, young musicians!
