BIT OF JOY | West Augustine Day of Service

The West Augustine Nature Society and the West Augustine Improvement Association held a Day of Service cleanup yesterday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Around 200 volunteers braved the cold to pick up trash in the historically Black neighborhood, and in just a couple of hours, they managed to clear up an estimated 2,000 pounds of garbage and old tires.
