The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says the reward increased with a donation by the Fraternal Order of Police Foundation.

Police said a woman stopped her Ford SUV at the railroad crossing just before 1:45 a.m. Wednesday as a train went by. Someone came up to the woman’s vehicle and shot her multiple times, then her Ford slid forward into the passing train.

News4Jax, a Jacksonville Today news partner, identified the woman as Paige Pringle, 28, an employee of Dos Gatos in Downtown Jacksonville.

At some point during the shooting, a 53-year-old woman also was shot to death as she stood on the sidewalk nearby, police said. She was identified as Tara Baker.

Police have no suspects or a motive for the slayings. Anyone with tips is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or First Coast Crime Stoppers.
