Friday & Saturday
The Paul Simon Songbook
Jacoby Symphony Hall | Downtown Jacksonville
Just slip out the back, Jack. And make a new plan, Stan, to take advantage of one of three opportunities to see the Jacksonville Symphony celebrate the music of iconic songwriter Paul Simon, author of countless classics including “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Sounds of Silence,” “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard” and “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” New associate symphony conductor Kevin Fitzgerald and a trio of vocalists will run through the Simon songbook — from the Simon & Garfunkel years to his 1986 masterpiece Graceland and beyond — beginning with a Coffee Series performance at 11 a.m. Friday and continuing Friday night (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday (7:30 p.m.). Tickets and more info here.
Saturday
