A Ponte Vedra Beach home donated to The Sontag Foundation Inc. to raise money for brain cancer research sold July 13 for $20 million, according to St. Johns County property records.
The Sontag Foundation, based in Ponte Vedra Beach, sold the home at 1185 and 1187 Ponte Vedra Blvd. to FaverGray Homes LLC of Jacksonville Beach.

Property records show the 8,558-square-foot home was built on 4.6 acres in 1994. It has five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. According to the Realtor.com listing, the oceanfront home has a pool and spa, balcony, patio and porch, and a wine cellar.
