Good news if you’re in the Spring cleaning mood and want to free up some space on your child’s bookshelf: Tenikka’s Books for Kids is back, collecting new and like-new books for children of all ages. The donated books will be given to local children who participate in the Jacksonville Public Library’s summer reading program. Donate in the marked boxes at:

  • All Jacksonville library branches
  • All First Florida Credit Union locations
  • All First Coast YMCA branches
  • Ackerman Cancer Center, 10881 San Jose Blvd.
  • San Marco Books & More, 1971 San Marco Blvd.
  • Happy Medium Book Cafe, 2724 Park St.
  • The Book Mark, 220 First St., Neptune Beach

Don’t have like-new books lying around? Shop for books to donate instead.

Jacksonville Today thanks our sponsors. Become one.

The Tenikka’s Books for Kids book drive ends March 21. But don’t worry; you can also donate used books at any library branch, any time, and they’ll end up at a Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library book sale.
