Local chain Mayday Ice Cream and the St. Johns County Public Library are collaborating to celebrate Library Lovers’ Month. (A month just for us? You shouldn’t have!) Library staff came up with potential ice cream flavors inspired by great books, and library patrons voted to make one of them a reality. The winning flavor is Where the Wild Flavors Are, a wild blueberry and dark chocolate ice cream with a hint of sea salt, inspired by the classic children’s book Where the Wild Things Are. Try this this Friday at a launch event with live music and games at Mayday, 1765 Tree Blvd. in St. Augustine starting at 4:30 p.m. Get your claws on the wild new flavor at any Mayday location in St. Johns County through March 13.
