All Weekend

Elks Lodge + MLK Avenue, Lincolnville | St. Augustine

St. Augustine plays host this weekend to the Lincolnville Festival, a celebration of music, history and community pride. Friday night’s ticketed Jazz and Veterans Night includes access to all three Lincolnville museums, a classic fish dinner and a performance by saxophonist Doug Carn. The festivities continue with free admission on Saturday and Sunday, as Martin Luther King Avenue transforms into a lively street party with food trucks, local vendors, youth activities and live music. The weekend concludes with Sunday’s Social and Gospel in the Park, a soulful finale that brings neighbors and visitors together in the heart of historic Lincolnville.

Jacksonville PorchFest

Saturday

Multiple Locations | Springfield

I’ll be spending the day close to home for one of my favorite neighborhood traditions — Jacksonville PorchFest. This free, family-friendly festival transforms the front porches of historic Springfield into intimate stages featuring musicians from across the region. Thousands come out each year to wander the tree-lined streets, enjoy great music and appreciate the beauty of Springfield’s historic homes. It’s a joyful celebration of community, creativity and local spirit.

Noon-8 p.m.; Multiple locations, Springfield; Free and open to the public; More info and map.
