Fall may have started on Tuesday, but there will be an Endless Summer Showcase on Saturday at 330 E. Bay St. in Jacksonville’s Downtown.
And Downtown drivers beware: the stretch of East Bay Street in front of the event will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday as some of the more exclusive cars park on the asphalt, and dozens more get the grass nearby on what is known as The Ford on Bay.

Officially called Endless Summer Showcase 4: Downtown Edition, the annual car show used to be held in Latham Plaza along 1st Street North in Jacksonville Beach, using all the grass and the boardwalk as well. Amid planned construction around Latham Plaza, promoter Trae Staker said he took the opportunity to move from the beachfront to the site next to the St. Johns River.
“When Ford on Bay became an option, we jumped on it because it’s a beautiful spot,” he says. “There’s also great breeze that happens throughout the day, and it definitely helps with the heat.”
The car show is the first held in the center of Downtown in over a decade, the last ones at the now-demolished Jacksonville Landing (demolished in 2019) and James Weldon Johnson Park opposite City Hall. Saturday’s show uses the the waterfront grassy area between East Bay and Water streets to showcase the show vehicles. The Ford on Bay site will also include a stage, vendors and more.

The more exotic cars will be shown on the shut-down part of East Bay Street. And organizers will unveil a special hypercar at noon, after the National Anthem.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for teens age 12 to 18. VIP Tickets are $150 and include access to the Decca Live rooftop bar across from the show site, with food and drink. Register a vehicle to show, at $40 per car and $30 per motorcycle.
Decca Live and nearby Keane’s Irish Pub will be selling beverages and food as part of the show. And the estimated 1,000 to 1,500 showgoers can expect some intriguing vehicles on display, Staker says.
“Our shows have always been anyone-is-welcome as for types of vehicle,” Staker says. “We love seeing classic vehicles; we love seeing race cars, drift cars, full builds — it does not matter to us. We enjoy the car community in general.”
Staker Productions’ next big event is its fifth annual Wings N’ Wheels on Feb. 27 at St. Augustine Airport at 4900 US-1 in St. Augustine, with hundreds of cars and airplanes displayed on the runways. That event also includes an aerobatics practice and a military flyover.
A portion of every registration and ticket sold will be donated to Boomerang Air Charter, which helps stop human trafficking.
