Raise a glass with custom 904-themed cocktails like the Duuuval-Rita while you dance the night away to tunes spun by Mr. Al Pete. If you’re out in St. Augustine for First Friday Art Walk, make sure to pop by the Lightner Museum for the opening of Ansley Randall: Home for Now. Ansley is a Flagler College grad who grew up in Jax, and she’s since taken her art global, painting massive, colorful murals everywhere from London and Berlin to New York and Miami. Now based in London, she’s bringing her very cool retro-inspired patterns and mid-century aesthetic back home. The opening reception is free to attend, plus they’ll have drinks and snacks.

Treat yourself to an evening of world-class jazz with UNF Professor Emeritus Dr. Bill Prince and his quintet. If you aren’t familiar with Dr. Prince, the man is a living legend, a true multi-instrumentalist who can play everything from trumpet and trombone to saxophone, flute and bass. And he’s played alongside the likes of Buddy Rich, Tommy Dorsey and Harry James while touring 81 countries. He’ll be playing a set full of timeless jazz standards and some original compositions as well.
