Interested in giving back to the community, but not sure how? Volunteer Jax is hosting an expo this afternoon to showcase the wide variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the city. Whether you’re interested in cleaning up the environment, helping animals or brightening the days of people in need, nonprofits at the expo are likely looking for a volunteer just like you. Today’s free event runs from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Jessie Ball duPont Center in Downtown Jax. Register to attend.
