When the Jaguars host Cincinnati on Monday Night Football, they’ll be supporting more than four dozen charities as part of the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign.

Jacksonville-based Wounded Warrior Project is among them. Vice President of Resource Development Brea Todd says the NFL has been a tremendous partner during Wounded Warrior’s 20-year existence.

“It’s an opportunity to showcase that Wounded Warrior Project is also headquartered right here,” Todd said. “We have a presence, but let me tell you, the Jaguars have a large, large presence. And so, for them to stand shoulder to shoulder with us is just so important, and for these players to support us is wonderful, especially on a stage like this evening.”

Offensive lineman Walker Little and special teams ace Seth Williams will wear silver cleats highlighting Wounded Warrior Project.

Todd said the Jaguars stand above many of their league peers in being advocates for mental health programs, financial wellness and physical health programs for veterans.

The pair are among nearly 60 players and 30 coaches participating in the My Cause, My Cleats initiative.

At least 15 million people will see players support organizations dedicated to eradicating cancer, elementary education and military support.
