The cost to park at St. Augustine’s Historic Downtown Parking Garage is going up. And the hours that parking rules are enforced downtown have been extended each day.

The city’s 1,200-car garage is on Cordova Street off West Castillo Drive, across from Francis Field and adjacent to St. George Street and San Marco Avenue. It has proven to be visitors’ favorite location for quick-and-easy parking.

The facility, open 24 hours a day, currently charges $15 per vehicle, per entry. Beginning Nov. 6, the rate will increase to $20.

City residents with a ParkNow Card can use the garage for $3 per vehicle, per entry.

The hours when certain special rates apply also will change. For example, after 5 p.m., during off-peak hours, the rate will drop to $5 per vehicle.
