UF quarterback Jalen Kitna booked on child porn charges

University of Florida quarterback Jalen Kitna has been arrested on charges related to child pornography.

Gainesville police say Kitna was booked Wednesday after he shared images of child sexual abuse via the Discord social media network.

According to the Alachua County Clerk of Courts website, the 19-year-old faces 10 second-degree felony charges of possession with intent to promote.

Kitna was a highly touted prospect from Texas when he joined the program in 2021. He is the son of longtime NFL quarterback Jon Kitna.

The Gators football program has suspended Jalen Kitna indefinitely.
