The city issued a permit this week for construction of an addition to create The Lomax Restaurant in the Five Points area of Riverside.
The founders of Roost Restaurants LLC are developing The Lomax Restaurant at the former Wells Fargo bank branch, 803 Lomax St. The same men opened The Local in Miramar and Neptune Beach and propose one along Oak Street in Riverside.

The permit is for a two-story building addition of 6,579 square feet. Overall, plans show two levels, with three bars, lounge space, a venue platform and a kitchen on the first floor.
