The Jacksonville Film Festival returns with a three-day lineup of topnotch films, workshops, panels and more, beginning with an opening ceremony on Friday night at WJCT Studios. Friday’s festivities include a screening of the 2022 film The Mirror Game, with director William J. Stribling in attendance. The festival continues at two Downtown Jacksonville locations — the Jessie Ball duPont Center and the main public library — on Saturday and Sunday. Full schedule and more information here.

Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio 

The Ritz Theatre and Museum | LaVilla 

Led by the revered multi-instrumentalist and boss of the Hammond B-3, the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio has made its mark on contemporary jazz — the group’s 2015 album Close But No Cigar landed at the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s jazz charts and the video from its 2017 set for Seattle’s KEXP has been viewed more than 5 million times. INBODY — Jacksonville Dance Theatre Winter Concert 

Florida Ballet | Arlington

Jacksonville Dance Theatre — the local contemporary dance company — presents its fall concert at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The all-local company performs a curated concert of short, small cast dances in an intimate studio setting at the Florida Ballet Jacksonville. $15 for students and active military, $30 for general admission.
