Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens | Riverside 

The Cummer’s two-day holiday market features art-inspired and artisan-made gifts from assorted trunk shows, including Italian resin jewelry, Venetian crystal glass, children’s books and distinctive stationery and wearables, among other unique items. Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto

Jacoby Symphony Hall | Downtown Jacksonville

Former Jax Symphony assistant conductor Nathan Aspinall, who now holds the same title with the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony Orchestra, returns to Jacksonville to lead a program that includes the late-19th century symphonic poem “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s famous Violin Concerto. Canadian-American musician Timothy Chooi handles violin duties. Both nights’ programs begin at 7:30 p.m. Get tickets here.

Black Violin

Florida Theatre | Downtown Jacksonville

The Sunshine State-born duo of classically trained violinist Kev Marcus and violist Will B, better known as Black Violin, fuses the traditional with the contemporary, plus everything in between and beyond. While presenting hip-hop, soul, funk and R&B through a classical lens on their solo efforts, Black Violin has collaborated with a broad range of artists, created music for television and performed sold-out shows at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
