A tax incentive for the proposed 31-story retirement community by Fleet Landing on Jacksonville’s Northbank area moved forward Oct. 21, earning approval by the Downtown Investment Authority’s board.

Board members voted 7-0 to approve the $49.27 million, 20-year, 75% Recapture Enhanced Value Grant, detailed in DIA Resolution 2026-1002. A REV grant is a refund on ad valorem tax revenue generated by a new development or property enhancement. It can apply to property and tangible personal property.
