If sipping coffee while surrounded by bright-eyed pugs sounds like a fun time, good news is at hand: CuppaPug, a pug cafe with locations across Europe and beyond, is coming to Jacksonville.
The cafe is expected to open in November at 14180 Beach Blvd., said Jacksonville Beach resident Andrea Nichols, one of the dog lovers behind the project. The roughly 2,400-square-foot space is about 3 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and close to San Pablo Road.
The heart of the business will be helping dogs through rescue and adoption, Nichols said. The business will partner with Pug Rescue of Florida & Georgia “to help raise awareness, support pugs in need and connect adoptable pugs with loving homes.”
