Collective Con

All Weekend

Prime Osborn Convention Center | Downtown Jacksonville

If the Prime Osborn looks like it’s been taken over by a multiverse of superheroes and anime legends this weekend, don’t worry—the city is in good hands. Collective Con is back for its 12th year as Northeast Florida’s premier celebration of all things pop culture. It’s your chance to meet celebrity guests like Alan Tudyk and Manny Jacinto (better known as Jacksonville’s favorite fictional son, Jason Mendoza, from The Good Place). Between the hourly panels and the free arcade, you can shop from hundreds of vendors or just admire the top-tier cosplay.

Every Brilliant Thing

Players By The Sea | Jacksonville Beach

Catch the Jacksonville version of the one-person play that’s taking Broadway by storm. After her mother’s suicide attempt, a young person begins a list of everything brilliant about the world—from ice cream to laughing so hard you snort. Through humor and heart, Every Brilliant Thing turns a sensitive conversation about mental health into a celebration of the extraordinary beauty found in the ordinary. And it’s a unique theatrical experience: Every Brilliant Thing invites the audience onto the stage for an uncommon perspective.

Thursday-Saturday: 8 p.m; Sunday: 3 p.m. | 106 6th St. N., Jacksonville Beach | Tickets: $35 ($32 for senior/student/military) | Tickets and more info
