Three businessmen are banking on Jacksonville residents embracing padel, a racket sport with millions of players worldwide, with the opening of an approximately 23,000-square-foot facility on the Southside.

Head, a sports equipment and apparel company that sells padel rackets, describes the sport on its website this way: “Padel is a mix between Tennis and Squash. It’s usually played in doubles on an enclosed court surrounded by walls of glass and metallic mesh.”
