Jacksonville churches, nonprofits, health providers, small businesses and others have combined to provide backpacks and other back-to-school supplies ahead of the academic year.

ASCENSION ST. VINCENT’S ARLINGTON
Ascension St. Vincent’s will provide free backpacks, school supplies and haircuts as well as hold family friendly activities and safety demonstrations. Children must be present to receive school supplies and backpacks.

Silent Women Speaking Foundation, the Youth Giving Back Sports Mentor Program as well as Kelly’s Kids have combined to hold a Back to School Drive that will provide backpacks, pencils, paper, crayons, notebooks and more. It also will feature music and fellowship.

FAMILY FIELD DAY
Greater Love Development Christian Center and Calvary’s Way Ministries are combining to hold a Family Field Day. There will be a backpack giveaway; however, children must be present to receive the backpacks. A bounce house, free food and prizes are part of the festivities. All are welcome.
