One of 12 breweries operated by Anheuser-Busch in the nation, Jacksonville’s facility has operated since 1969. This investment follows $10 million announced in late 2024 for facility upgrades, the company said.

“Investments like these are incredibly important because they help us to enhance our operations while also sustaining jobs and driving local economic growth in the communities where we operate,” Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth said in a news release.

The company also completed a $175 million expansion of the Jacksonville brewery’s 5-year-old Metal Container Corp. plant, a 192,405-square-foot facility that opened in early 2017, according to Haskell, which designed and led construction of the one-story building.
