The annual Shop with a Jaguar event was held on Monday night in the Sandalwood neighborhood. More than a half dozen players, including team captains Foye Oluokun, Robert Hainsey and Trevor Lawrence, shopped alongside 200 children served by Sulzbacher, the Jacksonville Police Athletic League, Level The Playing Field and the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation. Each child received a T-shirt and Jaguars paraphernalia as well as a $150 gift card to shop. “It’s bringing more joy to kids,” says Jaguars nose tackle DaVon Hamilton. “I hope one day, down the line, they feel the need to give back to their communities and be able to spread the joy to kids when they get older. Some of these kids I’ve seen for multiple years now, so it’s been cool to see them grow up.”
