The St. Johns Cultural Council has unveiled an interactive new mural in Downtown Hastings. Internationally acclaimed artist Kelsey Montague, the same artist behind the viral Nashville Wings mural, created the piece to celebrate farming in Hastings. The mural includes local wildlife, native crops and a vegetable cart that appears to be pulled by a real bicycle that allows visitors to become a part of the artwork. Montague says, “I wanted to reflect the soul of Hastings — not just visually but emotionally. The agricultural story here is one of resilience, family and pride. I hope everyone stops by, takes a photo and connects with the energy of this town.” Pay a visit to Florida’s Potato Capital and check out the mural at 415 N. Main St.
