Early voting starts for Floridians next week, so our number this week looks ahead to the election and spotlights the red, blue, and everything in between. Voters who are eligible to vote on Nov. 5 in Duval County total 649,929.
Democrats have a slim lead in Duval County — about 11,000 more than Republicans. Republicans have the lead in each county surrounding Duval. And voters with no party affiliation or a minor party affiliation also make up a significant bloc of voters.
