Riverside Avondale Preservation Music Tour

Willow Branch Park and Various Locations | Riverside

Nearly two-dozen local artists will perform on or in several non-traditional venues — think homes, yards, parks and businesses — near Riverside’s WIllowbranch Park for the inaugural Riverside Avondale Preservation Music Tour on Saturday. In an effort to highlight the history of the neighborhood’s various and ever-shifting music scenes, and the influence of that history on the city’s current crop of music makers, ticket buyers will partake in a five-hour walking tour of an area of the neighborhood surrounding Willowbranch Park (the site of the festival’s main stage), and will be treated to performances at eight unique venues. 1 p.m.-6 p.m. Full lineup, tickets and more inf

Hurricane Helene Appalachia Fundraiser 

Bruiser Records and Jack Rabbits | Saint Nicholas and San Marco 

Legendary San Marco music venue Jack Rabbits is partnering with local promoter Mouth of the South and newly opened St. Nicholas independent record store Bruiser Records on a fundraiser to support relief efforts in areas of Appalachia devastated by Hurricane Helene with a day of music, raffles and vinyl giveaways. The all-day fundraiser starts at Bruiser Records, 3119 Beach Blvd. Then, local retro-country band Dean Winter and the Heat, Patsy Cline tribute act Patsy’s Daydream and singer-songwriter Josh Card perform at Jack Rabbits at 7 p.m. Tickets.
