Vice President Kamala Harris will campaign Wednesday in Jacksonville as Democrats continue trying to make abortion a key issue in the 2024 elections.
The appearance, which comes as Harris and President Joe Biden seek a second term, will focus “on the stakes of the election for reproductive freedom across the country,” according to a news release issued late Wednesday by the Biden campaign.

Harris will arrive on the same day that a Florida law takes effect preventing abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.
Biden also campaigned this week in Tampa and backed abortion rights.
The news release did not include details of the time or location of Harris’ appearance.
