The Downtown Investment Authority now wants to weigh in on a new, more expensive deal for the Laura Street Trio.
Six months ago, the agency sent City Council an incentives package without making a recommendation about whether to accept it. But a new proposal is far different, the DIA says.

City Council will have a special meeting Jan. 4 to discuss adding a $2 million forgivable loan to the package, bringing the total incentives package for the Trio to $38.5 million.
