In a city that’s always changing, even decades-old landmarks are on the chopping block.

Population growth in Jacksonville has made the expansion of housing options a necessity, and some of the properties most likely to be converted for this purpose seem to be ones that were once well-known landmarks in the community.

Among them: River City Brewing Co., Morocco Shrine Center and Southgate Plaza.
