Jacksonville considers $63 million medical examiner’s office

The medical examiner’s office in Jacksonville has been dealing with space issues for years.

At one point years ago, the medical examiner’s office had to place a body on the floor because there wasn’t enough room.

On Tuesday, legislation was introduced to City Council to build a $63 million facility to help deal with the issue.
