Custom Brands closing Jacksonville facility and cutting 79 workers

The Custom Brands Group of Hunter Douglas Fabrication Co. filed a notice with the state saying it is closing its Jacksonville facility, resulting in the termination of 79 employees.

Hunter Douglas is a Netherlands-based company that makes window treatments.

Its Utah-based Custom Brands unit has been operating the Jacksonville facility at 8801 Corporate Square Court since it acquired Vista Products Inc. in 2020, according to the Custom Brands website.
