Tuesday Morning to close Jacksonville area store

Off-price home goods retailer Tuesday Morning plans to shutter more than 250 stores, including at least one in Northeast Florida.

The retailer, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday, plans to close its Ponte Vedra Beach store at 840 State Road A1A N. in the Corridors at Ponte Vedra retail center.

The chain’s other Jacksonville-area stores in Ortega, at 4524 St. Johns Ave., and Mandarin, at 12200 San Jose Blvd., were not on a list of closures published this week and are expected to remain open. Stores in nearby Fernandina Beach and St. Augustine, too, will remain open.
