Yvette Sanchez joined the News4Jax team in February 2025. She is originally from Southern California and received her degree in sports journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Yvette has traveled all over the United States covering high school sports, minor league baseball, tornadoes and COVID-19. She also covered Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers.
