Danielle covers K-12 schools and colleges and universities throughout Central Florida. Danielle got her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Michigan. She also holds a master's in education from the University of Michigan and a master's in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Before becoming a journalist, Danielle was a high school English teacher in her home state of Michigan. She is a member of the Education Writers Association. Her reporting has been featured on NPR, Marketplace and Vox, and has won awards from the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists, the Public Media Journalists Association and the Society of Professional Journalists.
