Today is National Change a Pet’s Life Day, and the Jacksonville Humane Society is asking you to help change the lives of animals in Jax. Like 1-year-old Petunia, a pup who was hit by a car and brought to the Humane Society by a Good Samaritan for life-saving surgery to remove her broken leg. After a volunteer fostered her while she recovered, Petunia was just adopted by a loving family. The Humane Society says all of her care was funded by donations from the community, and more donations can help other animals find their happy endings too. Give here.
