It is time for voters who normally vote by mail to submit a new request to the elections office.

Duval Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland says all previous vote‑by‑mail requests expired in December 2024. Holland sent a telephone message this week to people who have chosen mail-in ballots in the past, saying it is time to renew.

“We are contacting voters who requested to vote by mail in 2024 and who do not currently have an active vote‑by‑mail request on file for the 2026 election cycle,” Holland said in a news release. “If you would like to vote by mail in the upcoming 2026 election cycle, you can submit a new request now and vote at your convenience.”

Vote by mail requests

Vote by mail requests are valid through the end of the calendar year of the next regularly scheduled general election, he said.

Go to duvalelections.gov or call (904) 255-8683 to request a new mail-in ballot.
