A Downtown jazz show benefiting Breezy Jazz House; open studio time with artists in Riverside; and St. Augustine’s premiere holiday event are What to Do in the Jacksonville area this weekend.

Up With Jazz! Breezy Jazz House Benefit
Friday
Intuition Aleworks | Downtown Jacksonville
Eight years into its Jacksonville journey, San Marco’s Breezy Jazz House is planning a move back north of the river in Downtown Jacksonville, and the club is hosting a special benefit concert at Intuition’s Concert Hall to help raise some moving funds. The show brings together some of Jacksonville’s top jazz musicians for an evening built around Eric Carter’s remarkable “History of Jazz” performance. If you haven’t seen his review before, it’s a full journey through the genre and a standout experience on its own. The night will also feature the Breezy Jazz House All Stars, Pablo Duque & Company and Raisin Cake Orchestra. If you love local jazz (and local beer) and want to support its continued growth in Jacksonville, this is a great way to do it.
929 E. Bay St.; Tickets: $25 online, $20 at the door. Tickets and more info.

Fall Open Studios
Saturday and Sunday
CoRK Arts District | Riverside
CoRK Arts District is hosting its 14th annual Fall Open Studios, and if you’ve never been, this is a great chance to see what makes it such an anchor of Jacksonville’s art scene. I have so many good memories at CoRK over the years, and it’s always fun to step back inside and see what everyone’s working on. This time, more than 70 artists will open their doors, along with new exhibitions, demonstrations, a raffle, kids’ activities, a University of North Florida student show, and a food-drive drop-off for Jax Mutual Aid. The event also offers great food and drink options and live music.
2689 Rosselle St.; Free and open to the public; More info.

Nights of Lights
All Weekend
Plaza de la Constitución and beyond | St. Augustine
St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights is one of the prettiest sights of the season, with the entire Downtown draped in white lights that make the city feel completely transformed. It looks like the weather will be perfect this weekend, which makes it an easy pick if you’re in the mood for a relaxed evening out (if you don’t mind crowds). Beyond the lights themselves, there’s plenty happening around town: a Christmas Market, live music, seasonal tours, and other festivities make St. Augustine especially magical to explore this time of year.
Historic St. Augustine; Free and open to the public. More info.
