Good news if you’re looking to put your house on the market (or spooky news if you’re looking to buy): Home prices around the First Coast are up, this time by just a little bit. Our Number of the Week is the median sales price for single-family existing homes in the Jacksonville area: $399,000.

$399,000

Across the state, the Jacksonville Metropolitan Statistical Area (Duval, Baker, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns counties) falls in the middle of the pack. You won’t pay as much for a house here as you would in South Florida, but there are better deals in more rural areas, too. That leads to an overall state median home price of $410,000.

Post-COVID, Florida real estate prices soared. They’ve mostly leveled out since then.
