Neighborhood grants now available in St. Augustine

St. Augustine property owners looking to spruce up their communities can apply for financial assistance through the city’s Neighborhood Grant Program. The latest application window for the program opened this week.

The program is designed to let people take improvements into their own hands, providing up to $3,000 to local groups for projects.

Neighborhood Grant funding has previously been used to pay for the projects like the Lincolnville Community Garden and the annual Lincolnville Festival.

The city will accept proposals for grants through 5 p.m. Oct. 15.

Applications can also be dropped off in person to the city’s neighborhood services division on the fourth floor of City Hall, 75 King St. in downtown St. Augustine.
