Jazz Poetry Cafe

Willie Galimore Community Center | St. Augustine

Carisa Brown’s Jazz Poetry Café concludes its St. Augustine run this weekend. Originally launched in Jacksonville and later expanded to Brunswick and St. Augustine, the series is known for blending live jazz, R&B, and neo-soul with powerful spoken-word performances. For the closing evening, the Willie Galimore Center transforms into a stylish, softly lit café where seasoned performers share the stage with emerging talent during an open mic. Enjoy food from a local truck and drinks from the bar in the vibrant, creative atmosphere that has made the Jazz Poetry Café a local favorite.
